Operation Shoebox- New Jersey

Every Holiday season- not only does WC ARTS celebrate friendship and good food within it's membership by decorating a tree in the Oxford Municipal building, and having a wonderful Pot Luck Dinner- but we also run a collection to send much appreciated gifts and personal items to our servicemen and women overseas through "Operation Shoebox". http://www.opshoeboxnj.org

Bring your "shoebox" full of goodies to the WC ARTS meeting in December. If you don't have any spare shoeboxes, the US Postal Service has free boxes for Priority Mail (either the #4 or the #7 box) that are the perfect size.

Create a nice shoeboxed size package, identify if the package is "male" or "female" and include a personal note if you wish.

Donations can also be given to us in plastic "grocery" bags and the sorting will be done at a central New Jersey "Operation Shoebox" packaging and shipping site.

Donations made out to "Operation Shoebox New Jersey" in the amount of $9.80 (which are tax deductible) are also accepted. Each check will ensure these "shoebox" packages can continue to be sent.
